NEW ROUTE FOR 2016!!! To avoid the traffic of Highway 2 over Stevens Pass the new route will follow scenic Highway 20 through Cascades National Park for both directions over the Cascades. The new mileage will be 503.7 miles.     Make sure and REGISTER today and reserve your spot!

This may be the best Start/Finish location of any ultra!
The 2015 race on August 29-30th will Start/Finish at a location with incredible amenities! Soak sore muscles in the hot tub, cool off in the pool, raid the poolside fridge for beverages, refuel with something grilled on the BBQ, or just collapse in a chair poolside! This race ends in luxury! [more]
Oso mud slide alternate race route
Due to the Oso mud slide, an alternate route may be used (only differing by 5 miles in total mileage). See the race route page for updates as progress re-opening the highway is tracked throughout the summer. Current estimates have Highway 530 open by early September, but if the highway is open in time for the race in late August we will follow the original route through Oso. [more]
Cascade Ultra is ON!
The new 2014 race route has been planned, and with 452 miles of scenic mountain riding, it should prove to be the highlight of the race season for those who ride it! Dates are August 16-17th. NEW UPDATE:  as of Thursday, Aug 15th we are still up and running. The Mud slides in the North Cascades totally wiped out the main road, causing them to close, and us to relocate the route to another part of the state...BUT, it will be a fun adventure, into new territory for all of us.  We are still a RAAM qualifier, so no worries. 425 mile COUP de CASCADES, still up and running.
YES, we are still up and running this year...AUG 17th & 18th 2013. Never fear, we are here to answer any questions you might have about the race. Make sure to sign up early...as the prices will go up this year as the race gets closer to the start date.
